Your Bio Microneedling journey begins with a thorough skin consultation to assess your skin concerns and suitability. The treatment itself involves the application of a professional spicule solution, which is gently worked into the skin.

You may experience a tingling or prickly sensation during the treatment—this is completely normal and indicates the spicules are activating the skin. Redness and warmth are expected and are part of the skin’s natural response.

The treatment is completed with calming and restorative products to support the skin barrier and healing process.

Bio Microneedling is a progressive treatment, meaning results continue to improve over time.

Day 1–2:

Redness, sensitivity, and a warm sensation may be present. Skin may feel tight or slightly rough.

Day 3–5:

Light shedding or flaking may occur as old skin cells are released. The complexion begins to look clearer and brighter.

Day 5–7+:

SQT Biomicroneedling Aftercare: Essential Guidelines for Optimal Recovery

To ensure the best possible results from your SQT treatment, please follow these aftercare instructions carefully:

Day 0 (Treatment Day)

  • Do not touch or wash your face.

  • To soothe sensitivity or itching, lightly mist the skin with distilled cool water.

  • In the evening, apply only the recommended recovery serum.

Day 1–2 (First 48 Hours)

  • Gently splash the skin with lukewarm or cool water only.

  • Apply the SQT® recovery serum or cream as advised.

  • When drying your face, use a clean towel and pat dry gently — never rub.

Day 3–5

  • Introduce a mild, gentle cleanser.

  • Continue using a soothing moisturiser.

  • Avoid all active ingredients including retinol, acids, exfoliants, alcohol-based products, wipes, soap, or abrasive treatments.

From Day 7 Onwards

  • You may gradually reintroduce active skincare ingredients, if the skin feels fully recovered.

Additional Recovery Guidance

  • SQT® Spongilla Recovery Set – Use twice daily for five days post-treatment to support healing and optimise results.

  • Managing Itchiness – If needed, lightly pat the skin with toner or lotion applied to a cotton pad. Do not scratch.

  • Peeling Process – Mild peeling may occur around Day 3. Allow the skin to shed naturally; do not pick or pull.

  • Sun Protection – Apply a high-quality SPF 30+ daily, as your skin will be more sensitive to UV exposure.
